The place is huge and has a beautiful architecture. I would strongly recommend history buffs to visit this place. Lots of memorabilias and artifacts surrounding Chiang Kai-Shek's life are on display.

Amazing architecture with a lot of history inside. Ran by volunteers. Bonus: Check out the Winnie the Pooh Exhibition while its in town (9/18/16 is the last day)

This imposing white monument with its distinctive blue octagonal roof is Taipei’s greatest cultural landmark. The museum below has some fine Kuomintang political party propaganda.

Great place to admire the architecture and to learn some history of Taiwan. Stand in the middle point and you get the 360 view of 4 buildings

Very impressive building and park grounds. Nice place to take a walk and witness the unintentionally hilarious changing of guards every hour on the hour (a lá Monty Python’s Ministry of Silly Walks).
